HEIDELBERG IS UP AND RUNNING

Wow, what a busy start to the year.
We have 8 teams in the VVL and we couldn’t be happier with the way the teams are playing in terms of the enthusiasm and energy they bring to the court. As a Club we are very proud of all our teams in the VVL and we look forward to watching their ongoing development over the coming rounds.
The Clubs junior program is into its third month now with record numbers participating in our Tuesday and Thursday training sessions. These sessions are designed to help the young developing player with their skills and match play. We will be entering one boys and three girls teams into the Friday night Western Region Competition as well as entering teams into upcoming Sunday junior tournaments.
With the State Junior trials coming up we encourage all our junior players to get along to the trials. We would also hope our more senior athletes will get along to the AVL trials when they are conducted later in the year.
All up, the Club is being represented by nearly 140 players, coaches and administrators, all wearing the black and white of Heidelberg proudly.
Good luck to everyone in the upcoming competitions and tournaments.
