Heidelberg Volleyball Club is pleased to announce formal ties with Heidelberg Turnverein Volleyball (HTV) in Germany.
The goal of this partnership is to bridge continents—with combined expertise and experiences sharing ideas, techniques, concepts. This may take the form of sharing resources, coaching forums, player/coach exchanges and international tours by teams.
Discussions are underway for a group of athletes and coaches to travel to Germany in 2016 for training and matches with HTV Volleyball and other European clubs.

Thanks to Peter (Chico) Jones, another Heidelberg champion, who has added to the Club Honor Roll. Come on all you past players and coaches, get out your volleyball records, programs, medals, etc, and help us fill in the gaps in the history of this proud Club. There is over 45 years of history to be saved for future generations.
Check out the Club Honor Roll. David Abud, a champion player for the club, has provided an update of the men’s success during the 80’s and 90’s.
Email the club if you want to play in this one day Junior Tournament at Maribyrnong College, River Street.

Two Divisons are available, Under 17 and open age for Juniors.
Great opportunity for some of our developing VVL players to play.
Grab your team mates and get along to Basco Brunswick (307-311 Sydney Road, Brunswick) this Friday night (29th may) from 6pm onwards for tapas and drinks. It would be great to see all the teams represented to celebrate the halfway mark of the VVL season.
Our newly formed junior boys team won Gold on the weekend at the Moonee Valley Championships. Coached by Garang, the team improved over the course of the tournament.
The club also fielded two Under 16 and one Under 15 girls team and they were all unlucky not to make the finals. All the players and coaches enjoyed the tournament and are all looking forward to the next one.
