Serve Receive Ruling Changed Back
FIVB has formally confirmed that we are to roll back to 2009-2012 serve reception rules.
Please see the attached document which I recommend to be distributed to all your members, coaches and athletes. Implementation of the roll back is immediate.

TWO JUNIOR BERGERS MAKE AUSTRALIAN TEAM
Congratulations to Alek Ryan and Zach Santamaria who have been selected to play for Australia in the coming weeks. They will be playing in the Australian Youth (Under 17) Boys Team at the Thailand National Junior (Under 21) tournament from 26 April to 7 May. Their selection is testament to the work they have put in over the past two years. The Club is very proud of you.

JUNIOR SPORTING GOVERNMENT GRANT
The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12-18 towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championships or a School Sport Australia state or national championships.
Those athletes selected in the state teams are eligible to apply for the grant. Here is the link to the grant process.
