Welcome back to volleyball.
It is with great pleasure that I announce Scott Handley and James Santamaria as the Premier Men’s and Women’s Coaches respectively. Scott has been involved at the elite level of volleyball, cricket and football and brings his experiences as a strength and conditioning coach. He is excited with the opportunity to work with an outstanding group of men, and will bring all these skills together to create a challenging and rewarding training and playing experience for our high achieving Premier Men’s Team
James Santamaria retains the position held in 2013, having completed 2013 with a 13:1win/loss ratio during the rounds. James is looking forward to working with the same group of players this year, aiming to take their performances another step in August 2014. His passion for the game and his love of, and loyalty to, the Club is without doubt key success factors he will bring to the Premier Women’s Team in 2014.
Trainings for Premier Men and Women will commence at 7pm on Tuesday 28 January (both at PEGS) and Thursday 30 January (women at CLC and men at Santamaria College).
More announcements regarding Reserve and the Division 2/3 coaches, as well as player movement, will be made in the near future.
